As of August 26, the Howard County Police reported 13* fatal and 112 nonfatal overdoses so far in 2019.

Naloxone (also known by brandname Narcan) is a life-saving medication that can be used to help restore breathing to someone who has overdosed on opioids, including heroin, prescription pain medication, and fentanyl.
